Mercado Central de Atarazanas

Atarazanas Central Market

A must-see in Málaga, come rain or shine, is the Atarazanas Central Market where you will find several bars and restaurants with a mix of colors and smells filling the air. It was raining cats and dogs during much of Semana Santa in late March this year, so the market made a perfect mid-morning stop, and it was packed, as was expected.

We stopped at Central Bar for a glass of excellent Sierras de Málaga wine and an aperitivo before heading to lunch.

Restaurante Beluga

What could be more fitting than having one, or even two, of Restaurante Beluga‘s famous rice dishes like Arroz de pato, calabaza y foie (duck, pumpkin and foie) paired with a bottle of Baillalto Pedro Ximén Blanco Seco.
